Masturbation is the primary sexual activity of mankind, in the 19th century it was seen as a disease and people should not do it, in the 20th century it is now seen as a cure. To be honest I can see why it is seen as a bad thing to do, to many people it is normall and most people in this generation do it. It is mostly aimed at men, but many women do it as well, but it does not matter how old you are or what race you are everyone does it. Some religions believe that it is harmful and should not be done, for example christains can see it as bad as wearing condom when having sex, which means that it is seen as a sin. Masturbation has earned quite a range of different nicknames but all mean the same such as 'choking the chicken' 'bash the bishop' or spanking the monkey', there are many different nicknames for both men and women that are used.
